Johnny Mathis' quick-thinking saved the life of a dog after elevator doors closed on its leash.

Thanks for this. People act so fucking high and mighty about parenting because they’re all so insecure about their parenting

“Oh how did that kid manage to open that door at night anyway? ‘I’ would have been between them and the door at 3 am before they reached it.” <<actual quote I read several years ago when an article about a toddler who got outside in the middle of the night in winter came out

And they all claim none could ever forget their kid in the car and ignore all the science behind how it happens and why it usually happens. They all experienced the concept, but because it had not happened yet with a kid they think they’re superior and would never have it happen. It doesn’t happen most of the time but under the right circumstances it certainly can. So glad those people don’t get to determine sentencings
