José Mourinho: "In Germany, Bayern Munich start winning Bundesliga in the summer. They go to BVB every year and buy their best player. One day they go there and get Lewandowski. The next year, they go there, Götze. The next year, they go there, Hummels. So they win the Bundesliga in the summer."

How is it trolling? Football isn't some equal world in which all clubs have the same chance to succeed. Bayern's success isn't 'valid' because of some magical reason. Nor is Manchester United's when they look down on Chelsea and City.

Massive financial advantages= greater results on the pitch. Just because United had fans before they became the dominant team in England doesn't mean anything. In fact, they went through a similar rebrand to Liepzig (without the overt sponsorship) funded by a rich owner. It's why they're called Manchester United. That early financial help kickstarted generations of on the pitch dominance. It's no more 'valid' than what Liepzig did

This idea that there's a moral element to success and a right way to win makes no sense in the globalised sport of football. FFP is merely a way to lock the successful teams in place before the 'new rich' come and take their crowns. Artificially locking in a period of history because it suits them. It's not morally right for Bayern to throw 30 million at a player, but morally wrong for a less 'historic' club to do the same. Bayern's 'earned' its ability to do that by exploiting ways to gain money decades previously, stopping newcomers from doing the same thing is hypocritical.
