Just bought my first pipe of my own (a Missouri Meerschaum), and 2 oz of my local blend! Super excited to get into this like my great grandfather

I'm new to. May I do the survey? (if the answer is no please disregard the following answers. I just wanted to save time instead of waiting for a response and then posting the answers to the questions)

Saccharin or savory sweet? Savory sweet

Tea or coffee? I like both but more often go for coffee

How do you take your tea/coffee? weak/strong, light/black, sweet/bitter? Strong, light (I add milk if that is what your asking), bitter ( sugar ruins coffee! in my opinion)

Which smells do you enjoy? Fresh cut grass, dry hay, the loamy earthy smell of half rotted leaves in the late fall, campfire? I like all but in order of best to worst: Dry hay, earthy, campfire, fresh cut grass.

Do you like dark fruits like plums and figs? yes but they aren't my favorite unless they are in desserts because the fig Italian Christmas cookies are the best!

Do you like the tingle of black pepper in your nose when you get a strong hit of it? No.

Rich and hot from the bakery bread or something a day old with more grains and bit more dense you can sink your teeth into? Hot fresh bread.

Rich BBQ sauce or charred, well seasoned meat bark? I feel that BBQ sauce is best used on poor cuts of meat to mask it. I will assume that we will use a good meat so charred, well seasoned meat.

Do you like something straight forward and in your face or do you want something complex to sit and ponder and try and figure out just what it is that ephemeral taste in the background? Complex has a good sound to it but I think a more in your face flavor will help me learn to taste better. remember I am new and all I taste is tobacco, I think.

As some added background I will add that I have only smoked one type tobacco for a couple of weeks. It is an aromatic bought in bulk I didn't buy it, so that is all I know about it.
