Thanks for sharing your perspective. There are a couple issues with it, however:

First, if the entire series was told from Tony's vantage point, how were there any scenes without him in it? For example, Chris lied about how the meeting with Ben Kingsley about his script went. How do we know the truth? For another, how do we know about the affair Vito had with the fry-cook/firefighter while he was on the run? And how did we know about more than a fraction of the crap AJ did throughout the series, given the fact that he barely communicated with his parents? Second, there was no obvious reason for Mr. MO to retrieve a hidden gun in the bathroom to kill Tony. There were no metal detectors or bouncers at the entrance checking patrons for weapons. He could have just kept it in his coat or an ankle holster.

To be clear, I'm not insisting Tony wasn't whacked; nor am I suggesting the guy in the MO jacket didn't do it. I'm just saying the reasons you gave don't support that assertion.
