I was at work and about to go on my lunch. I usually spend my 30 mins in my car on the far side of the parking lot. As I step through the front door I see a guy standing off to the right of the entrance a ways and didnt think much of it. However something told me to look into my darkened phone screens reflection to see if he started following. He had when I checked, doubt he noticed I had seen him. So thoughts started racing through my head of what im to do if he is really following me. I did the same reflecting trick with my wristwatch when I was close to my car and sure enough, he was still in pursuit. I quickly swiveled around before he could close the gap and asked if I could help him with anything. He seemed stunned that I turned around and fumbled over words while still approaching. I held up my hands and said if I can help you please tell me but dont come any closer. He then proceeds to tell me that he's looking for a date and that he insists im gay. A little about me, I'm been described as a sassy pretty boy with long hair, bubbly and friendly. He says he was convinced I was coming onto him and that I should suck his dick. He got closer and I immediately stepped closer to my car, unlocked it with the button and stepped in and locked it all in a swift motion. All while telling him he's got the wrong idea completely and that he's making me super uncomfortable. He steps up to the window still saying I'd enjoy sucking him off. I grabbed my phone and dialed 911 in view of him and brandished my knife in my other hand. He stepped off said sorry and that he was joking. He's never come by since but I never really told anyone what happened that day. I never told my job because I felt embarrassed. I was so shaken and didnt know how to process it. I felt like it was my fault for being the way I am naturally. But that's fucked up, that dude is for sure a predator and I doubt im the first he's tried doing this to.

I got a taste of what women get quite often and felt sick to my stomach. I feel awful for anyone who experiences this type of harassment and of course worse. This experience still bothers me and the fight/flight/freeze response was so strong.
