I watched my aunt struggle and basically go through her life taking care of my highly non functional autistic cousin... she spent so much $ in regard to its therapists. She even had to take the school district to court for the school wanting her to pay for an aid. He never ended up being able to talk, it could never say thank you for all she did to better its life or even show any love or emotion for that fact... It ended up getting very aggressive once it hit the 20"s she had to give it away to a home who would be able to care for its needs as it got very dangerous. It's traumatized me to actually see this happen. The autism was a very non functioning level. It would flap its hands and arms all about and make strange noises and bounce on a ball and watch the same Disney movie over and over again she had to lock the cupboards because it grew so gigantically. It was 6"4 and 300 lbs... a non functioning hulk witj an anger Streak and no verbal communication. I'm very scared and I don't want to live this kind of life. I'm sorry if anyone Hates me for this statement. But I don't care I saw it first hand how hard it is. It has the autism from the man my aunt married, supposedly a hidden gene as my uncle seemed fine, my other cousin they had has a very low level of autism. Not even noticeable like my partner. Just certain things give it away. He owns a business and has a gf. But his brother... is a completely different story.
