This great that it's worked out for you. My friends know my situation. Grown up around alcohol due to parents and I'm not interested in it. My friends seemed to ignore how much an alcoholic parent can affect someone's life. I've said that I'm not interested about 5 times and they all know about my parent. I think they are pretty shitty to keep on asking me to be honest. If they really wanted to stay friends and hang out then is it really that difficult to come up with different ideas than just clubbing. I don't want to turn around and just say "look I've told you loads of times that I'm not interested" because I would like to speak to them every now and then.
