You never know where someone is in their weight loss journey, keep your nasty comments to yourself

I’d also like to add that it’s ridiculous how many people think that lifestyle is the one and only cause of any sort of unhealthy weight.

Over weight or underweight. As an underweight person, I personally struggle to gain weight. I eat like shit and I don’t work out. But being skinny is seen as healthy so people assume I have healthy habits. How wrong they are. My energy levels are low and I struggle walking up a few flights of stairs without getting dizzy myself. I am in no way healthy.

On the other hand, when people see a larger person, a lot of people immediately think “geez work out and eat a few salads, cut back the burgers, etc”.

It’s like no, they’re not large because they eat 17 burgers a day with extra cheese and don’t work out. Exaggerated, but you know what I mean. People’s bodies are different and function in very different ways. I’m not skinny because I work out and eat healthy, i’m skinny because I was born this way. It’s the same a lot of the time for larger people.

Of course there are ways to manage this, but it is a lot more difficult than “normal weight” people think.

This was a jumble of thoughts but I hope you get the point ❤️
