I just realized that this image has been removed from all topics in Steam (from 21 jan 2015)

A direct copypaste from google: "A hyperbole is an extreme exaggeration used to make a point. It is like the opposite of “understatement.” It is from a Greek word meaning “excess.”"

If you or anybody else takes my hyperbole seriously or literally, that is not my problem.

Nowhere in that definition does it say it is not to be taken as a serious statement. Perhaps your understanding of the definition is flawed.

The threads is, and almost every single thread out there right now. But not the OP I replied to.

And yet your entire argument in support of the way you said what you said hinges on your references to absolutely not the topic you're speaking about? You realize how, again, you have ruined your credibility in being taken seriously, right?

That I did. Only the people upset about Day 1 are boycotting the game and uninstalling and trying to get others to ignore the rewards of other days, and that is the group I was referring to.

And this is the group of people you were using to justify your own behavior... and you quoted this group of people... and you then said you liked "the feature." How is anyone who is following this conversation to come to any other conclusion than you were talking about micro-transactions/skins, and now that you've found yourself down a rabbit hole you don't want to be you change it to "Oh, no, I was talking about this, not that."? They wouldn't, because logical flow of the conversation lays that you were talking about micro-transactions/skins... because, again, this is the only information you used to support your behavior.

I said that I care about safehouse features, and that the regular Payday 2 folk are also interested. The latter part might be an assumption, but I still stand by my words.

Dude... /u/sesaman. Seriously. Just stop. At this point I've exhausted any energy I have allocated to you. You said something stupid. You likely tried to say it to be edgy or funny or whatever, but it wasn't. It was a flop. You then proceeded to point at people in an apparently entirely "different topic" as a reason for your actions, and when that didn't work, you jumped to "Oh, I was talking about safe houses."

I began my initial response as a way to point out why you were getting the response you were. You have now solidified anyone's viewpoint from that first post by trying to make this out to be some kind of misunderstanding/CYA.
