Keep my mistake purchase or move on?

I definitely know how my car works, so I know about the electric range and the MPG. In reality, it’s not 44 highway. I just went on a road trip, and we were able to go about 200 miles before needing to refuel. That’s not even 30 miles to the gallon. A lot of the driving was over mountain passes, so that’s part of it. The car does not handle hills well, since the gas engine is quite weak. It was not great. Regardless, we don’t drive long distances frequently enough for this to be a huge issue. It’s not the biggest problem with the car. The biggest problem is the fact that I bought it in the first place, when I really shouldn’t have.

I really didn’t intend for this to be a post where I’m set in my ways and want everyone to just agree. But does it really make sense to pay $6,000 a year in payments on this car, when I could go get a used car for about twice that? Or I could lease a fully electric new Leaf for $219/month? Just from a financial perspective, that makes so much more sense to me. What I’ve sunk into the Clarity is already gone, no matter what. So I have to think about the future.
