Koeman says Oumar Niasse back in first team. "Sometimes in life you have to give someone opportunities"

I think it's harsh to name Koeman a bellend for that. Niasse sucked. We probably should not have bought him in the first place bit here we are. Koeman probably saw what the others saw: a player who's not even close to the standard. Coming into the PL from Russia is hard.

His treatment of Niasse was harsh and nowhere near respectful. Still, Niasse banged them in for the U23s and subsequently was OK for Hull. He might have looked really bad when he came here and Koeman treated him harshly but this guy went on to actually work on himself to see success. I am happy for Niasse that he can probably now show Koeman that he was wrong - and for some people, that's exactly the motivation they need to get going.

I think Koeman's treatment of Niasse was extremely harsh and not something many players would endure but if you look at Niasse's progress, he might have needed that to show what he's capable of. And now, I hope that he gets some play time, scores on debut and makes Koeman apologize for being wrong and harsh.
