Sorry about your doggy. I had to put mine to sleep last Monday. I couldn't give mine junk treats like cheeseburgers or stews with onions and garlic because it would have given her diarrhea, and I didn't want to make her feel ill in her last days, especially since she had started to become incontinent.

Instead I just increased the frequency that she got 'special treats'... I gave her a boiled egg every day, fresh bison marrow bone to chew every day as well as a whole herring fish every day, plus all her regular treats. Also made meaty loaf with ground beef, eggs, carrots and oats that she gobbled down. I already made this normally, but since she was no longer interested in her kibble I let her eat as much of it as she wanted (which still wasn't as much as she should have been eating).
