I work with finance now, and at the risk of patting my own back, have a stronger understanding of econ than any of my colleagues. I've worked to repair relationships and come back stronger.
You can come back from anything, but not if you give up. And you've got the brains already, so you can go further if you work towards it. Chill the fuck out, take small steps but keep moving forward.
