Let’s not forget that Google also made fun of phones with a camera bump, as well as making shots at the iPhone for removing the headphone jack.

My problems wih the Google event are their hypocracy and pricing. And they copied Apple and Samsung every turn.

What I like about the event: Google's computational learning is going very well. iOS is still broken since iOS 7 and poorly optimized. Android has surpassed it on slower chips.

Before three to four years ago, Apple was beast and buying anything from Microsoft or Samsung could screw people--definitely screwed me out of thousands. I got high-end tablets from Microsoft, Samsung, and others with unbearable CPUs around 2012-2015.

The Android fanboys have been deservedly sneering at Apple users and Apple won't step up their game. Newer iOS always slow down older devices. Animations are so buggy and it shows that Apple software engineers add more features, but won't clean up.

I can envision Android ipseceral years from now. They will copy iMessages and FaceTime and nail down all the data mining, tallying, computational learning magic. I still have more faith for iOS than it deserves, but my faith has dropped, because Google is integrating devices and becoming an unstoppable ecosystem while iMesage and FaceTime doesn't communicate well and so much. The W1 chip surprised me last year, so I could be wrong and Apple could still hold ground.
