Lets keep as many mods and assets as we can on the workshop, and off 3rd party websites to do our part against piracy.

My friend - I have been in the situation of not having enough money to buy things I want. I totally understand the need to have something that you can't buy or afford. But the idea you propose of that "nobody gets hurt" is incorrect.

Let me give you an example. You go to work one day and do your job. You are very good at your job and your boss (and the people he works for) really like the job. On pay day, your boss tells you I am sorry but I can't afford to pay you - I simply don't have enough money. Maybe I can pay you in a month from now, but I just can't do it right now. You are a great guy and I like you but can you just wait a month and I promise I will pay you.

Sound ridiculous right? Pirating a game is no different. You don't get to enjoy the hard work that someone did to make that game simply because you can't afford it. You don't get to "have fun" in the hopes that you will pay for the game a month from now or next year. The world doesn't work that way. Sometimes you just don't get to have it until you get the money. There is nothing wrong with that. It's not a bad thing - it is what it is - you just need to wait until you get more money to buy it or resound yourself to the fact that you can't have it. But make no mistake, you are not entitled to it. You have no right to it. Your boss does not get to benefit from your hard work by not paying you. You would not like that. A developer is the same way.

I am not trying to be mean but sometimes life sucks. You just have to deal with it and move on. There are a lot of things I want, I can think of a dozed games I want. I can't have them all - I just don't have the money right now to do it. So I won't buy it until I get the money. And if I can't get the money, then that's life - I don't get it. It sucks, its not fair (I work hard) but sometimes you can't get everything you want.
