We are all just chimps, look at chimps, do you think their lives have any more or less meaning than we have? I think we just started doing more different things and we just forgot that these things do not bring meaning in our lives, we just started building houses, roads cars just because we could not because they brought any meaning. Say you're a child and you've got nothing to do, so you build a house of cards from a deck of cards, and then your brother comes along and you tell him to play with it but not break it, and you leave to go somewhere else. The brother, may not be sure what to do with it, if the brother continues adding then thats good, but if he questions "Is there any meaning to this?" "This doesnt bring me joy" He can leave it, and maybe start doing something on his own which brings him more satisfaction.
