Lifestyle inflation is a bitch

Of course, and obviously what I said is anecdotal and my opinion only. When I say food/culture scene, I just think about Austin and go, WOW, they have SXSW, ACL, great BBQ and film festivals etc. Telluride is the most famous film festival I know of in CO, which is 6 hours from Denver. Red Rocks is the most amazing concert venue I've ever been to, but again, that's just a venue. Denver has tried and failed repeatedly to host large scale festivals for some reason.

Food is definitely getting better but in my opinion the city doesn't have it's own identity, it has good restaurants from a lot of different cultures but nothing is "Denver-centric". They do have a huge beef with New Mexico over green chile...

I love Colorado, and I'd love to move back, but right now I think I'd be happier in Boise, which is the next Denver, calling it now.

Also, y'all are troopers going to WP from the Springs, that's crazy!!!
