Lightning assign forward Jonathan Drouin to Syracuse

After careful consideration this is bullshit. I don't know what our organization is doing right now. Last season we were the young, fast, flashy team that played with our own brand of "swagger". It's the next season and it's seems we want to be more veteran and defensive than we are. I feel that if Cooper had his way he would only play 2 way fowards who always super careful and would probably scrap anyone who makes mistakes. We seem to shun all creativity in favor of the North / South game. We aren't fun... We don't want skill...

I watched the game today and enjoyed the triplets but still question why they are playing together? Why Were Killorn and Filpula our back on the top line? It's like Johnson comes back and is immediately given whatever linemates he wants, and he didn't even ask. Namestnakov was working hard and playing well with Kucherov and Stamkos, why was he buried on the 4th line with Boyle? Why that line combo thrown away after being productive when we needed it the most? Why can't we be offensive minded more and stack some speed and talent on our top lines? We could have a much more exciting team. Imagine these lines:

Namestnakov- Stamkos- Kucherov Palat - Johnson- Drouin Marchessault- Filppula- Callahan Paquette- Boyle - Brown

That would be the fastest team in the league and would be exciting as all hell. I know Killorns not I'm that lineup but he probably needs to be moved. We need to play our team to be good now and in the future, not stifle our youth and talent with this bullshit. Making the finals last year got to our heads and we need to take a step back. I know we "can" win the cup now but our real window is the next few years. Lets develop our kids so we can be the team we could be, not this defense first score 2nd thing we are trying to be right now...

This turned into a rant... My apologizes
