Linux Dev with Asperger's Syndrome refuses to accept parts of the new CoC

As someone who has and still is dealing with people with high functioning autism/asperger syndrome-people in place of business. They're the smartest people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Sure, it takes some time getting used to. Early in my career I often felt insufficient and looked down upon. But one day I realized they weren't looking down on me for not knowing, when I got that empty glaring stare. They're trying really hard to figure out how to communicate what they know in a way which my feeble brain is able understand. I can't help but to have that quote from from Stephen Fry playing over and over in my head whenever I read something about this new CoC..

“It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so fucking what."
