Liverpool FC boss Brendan Rodgers admits Reds will find it tough to attract top talent (ECHO)

I believe everyone expect that Liverpool will turn it around to become one of the biggest club in Europe again and dominate. Get back were we belong but it's been many many years now. We have had some good runs but look at other big clubs, then we're behind a lot. Thats why I believe its a lot of pressure on the players like in any other club.

Yeah the world knew absolutely. But they did something we have never done, showing our muscles on the transfermarket. They are a rich club of course. But we have bought a star player and bought their most expensive when you least expect it. Just to show 'We lost our place but we'll back next season where we belong'. Arsenal did the same with Özil and Sanchez, they know that they have to get back and win the league title. Get a winning team otherwise people are start point at players a lot.

We have spent money but never on a star player (Torres maybe). Instead we are doing half attempts. You have to spend money to make money even in football. We are attracting talents right now but when our golden boot player don't wanna play for the club, like Rodgers said its gonna be harder to attract talents.

We have developed a lot of great players, some of the best i the world just the last 10 years. But we need to have continuity to stay at the top, keep our best players. We got worse this season when should have been getting better. I seen that over and over again, that happend to United once but they are already back... they showed it. If they never spent that kind of money I believe they never could attract players this transfer window but they showed like I said "We are going to make everything that takes to get back, have the best players". Its gonna get easier to get star players because of that.
