Loading the SAR21 [xpost /r/singapore] [600x388]

Haha, this is kind of funny.

Not trying to be an ass, I'm just going to explain this so you are up to speed here:

This gif is taken from a YouTube video of one of the most popular US based gun related YouTube channels. The guy, Hickock45, is very well known to us and he lives in Tennessee in the US and has no connection to Singapore. We've all spent hours upon hours watching this man play with himself in his backyard.

The ammo (5.56x45) he is loading and the magazines (STANAG) are used by the majority of the worlds militaries, police, and civilian shooters (Singapore too apparently). They are exceedingly common, in fact it is the most popular rifle ammunition and magazines in much of the world. I bet %80 of the US subscribers to this sub have some of this ammo and a few of these magazines in their house.

There is nothing interesting, unique, or specially Singapore related in this gif. The only interesting thing in this gif is the device he is using to load the magazines. It is the Magula BenchLoader designed for the US market. This specific device probably does not even exist in Singapore at all actually as they are pretty rare and expensive in the USA as it is. Most people go with other mag loaders that are a lot smaller and less expensive.

Loading magazines get's tedious and tiring quickly and there are all kinds of ways and devices to assist in the task. Still though these devices are usually civilian things and as far as I know militaries around the world load their magazines either 1 round at a time the old fashioned way or they feed rounds off [stripper clips like this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUsz-ADDoxo&t=6m47s)

This is funny though because it would be like going to the most popular US based car YouTube channel and finding a video of a Ford Mustang that we have all seen and then capturing a gif from the video and then going to a popular car based Reddit and submitting it under some title like "Check out this Singaporean Model X1A! (x-post from /r/singapore)". Haha there is nothing really related to Singapore about this and is acually US focused...but I know what you meant. Singapore uses the SAR21 that uses the STANAG magazines which is the magazine in the gif...but they most likely don't use the special and rare magazine loader like shown in the video to load those magazines over in Singapore.
