A local competitor is starting to use the same marketing strategies (on facebook, instagram, etc.) as me. It’s not plagiarism or anything but how do I proceed?

My competitors have been in business for 2 decades. Then I came into the city and stole 20% of their clients (extremely low estimate based on all my clients telling me how they hate those places and will never go back).

The competitors come to my store with sun glasses and are constnalty driving up and down to see how we are doing. One even sent a client who used to be their client, guilting him into getting info from us. I catched on pretty fast when he kept asking all types of specific questions.

I have nothing to hide and just mentioned that we constantly have ideas on how to improve our experience for shoppers and that ideas never stop. One competitor started pushing his facebook page which he had neglected. The other copied and pasted my website and my google marketing. He must have spent a fortune.

Idiot doesn't realize that I'm revamping everything again this year with newer ideas.

All this to say is don't worry about it. Competition is good and if you have good innovative ideas, you'll always be a step ahead.
