Honestly, I've had a lot of success with this post in regards to employees working in the industry reaching out but the employers section will probably be a little more difficult.

For the most part, I understand the purpose of it; to network and gain information first hand from individuals in the industry but it honestly feels a little inauthentic and monotonous. Especially when you're given a list of specific questions you're supposed to ask but I digress.

Now, this may be my social anxiety speaking, but I feel like employers are already busy enough - let alone having to do an interview with questions that they probably have been asked 20 times before from other individuals looking for TSD funding but who knows?

However, if they're willing to offer me some financial help, I'm willing to jump through a few hoops and put a little effort in as well.

My employee counsellor told me that I might have difficulty finding employers to interview so if that is the case - I'll ask about the essay. Thanks for that information.
