I don’t know what your background is or why you feel that every pro life person must be hypocritical

It boils down to the Republican views that have been pushed by that party for years. Fight abortion, but also fight social welfare, availability of birth control, universal medicine, and many other typically democratic ideals.

Are there people who oppose abortion that are in favor of policies that help prevent unwanted pregnancies and/or support mothers who are not financially ready to have a child? Sure?

But at the highest level, Republicans have again and again fought against these sorts of policies. The Republican platform as a whole is hypocritical, regardless of how some individuals may feel.
