M1 and Perfect Timing for Notification for Payments

With all the due respect (I don't know the circumstances), it doesn't seem prudent to entrust receivable collection to an acquirer that has filed for insolvency three months before, whatever they might "assure".

Outside the business continuity issue of them shutting down operation 14 days before the mas deadline, there is a concrete risk that a few days of credit card receivable will not be transferred to the company.

As wirecard has been marred in concrete scandal allegations since 2019, and all over the financial press since them, they should have had their backup gateway on hot-plug no matter what, seems like a huge oversight to me.

And I notice that they were not the only ones to be caught so embarrassingly unprepared: as of yesterday a popular mnc coffee chain 25$bn size for instance could accept only nets and cash both in store and on the website. Totally puzzling to me, definitely not the standard you would expect in Singapore.
