Oh! Yeah you're totally right...I guess they think oh why is so and so messaging me when they don't follow me, they must be stalking me and not even care about my content so why are they interacting with me...it's a very defensive and egotistical take they have.

I'm sure influencers influence each other's bad habits too. It's totally snarky and mean girl behavior. The DM wasn't even critical or offensive! Maybe that girl was someone who could become a potential follower...but now she'll only spread negative news about that influencer based on her shitty experience.

Influencers need to drop the I'm better than everyone mentality and really get fkn grounded. If it wasn't for us, you wouldn't have a platform.
