The Invention of Monogamy

This is the problem we've run into in the modern era: some groups are "supposed" to hate this, and others are "supposed" to support it. Thats some heavy tribalist bullshit, and doesn't belong in any serious discussion of scholarly work.

I'm no biologist, but after researching both the support and criticisms of Sex at Dawn, it's clear that work has some structural issues. I also believe that monogamy is a myth. Both of these things can be true at the same time. I should not be viewed as an enemy of the poly community simply because I dared to criticize a work promoting polyamory. Again, that's some heavy duty tribalist bullshit.

And yet, here we are.
