When I see or hear crying women in public there's a 50/50 chance I'm getting involved.

The below story actually happened:

Imagine you and your wife are on an elevator in a Las Vegas Casino. The elevator stops before your exit and the doors slide open to a display of violence. A large man is hovering over a crying female just beating the shit out of her.

You try to analyze the situation but you only have time to notice his homeboy out of the corner of your eye as you step out of the elevator. You give his homeboy your best "fuck with me and die" face while you grab big boys hand as he pulls back to strike the disabled woman on the ground.

You are able to use his momentum and catch big boy off balance, which results in him staggering into the wall. Another woman, which you hadn't seen before rushes in to help the fallen woman, while your wife steps out of the elevator and starts herding the two girls into the elevator behind her.

The big man is furious at this point and attempts to intimidate you by walking towards you. But you hold your ground because now you are defending not only yourself and an injured woman but also your wife.

At the last moment before you can secure yourself and the others in the elevator the big guy makes his move and attempts to wedge himself into the doorway of the elevator with you. You again take him off balance. This time you turn with his attack while bringing your fist to his face. His natural reaction to pull his face back is enough to spin him around out of the doorway. You place a firm kick to the inside of his thighs. He crumples to the ground and watches as you back into the elevator while staring his buddy in the shadows down.

Life is good. You saved someone. Let's go gamble.
