I personally never cared for the Yuki x Machi storyline in the manga. Not because I wanted him to end up with Tohru - I was always a Kyo girl. But because I didn’t like Yuki enough to care about his separate storyline.

BUT - I agree that Yuki has been portrayed so much better in this reboot and I like him a lot more than I did originally so I hope that also makes me like the other characters more too.

I know people have said they hope they don’t touch anything because the manga is perfect but I don’t remember there being a chapter on Hatori and Mayuko actually getting together which always disappointed me. I wish they would add that in at least. She’s such a large part of this arc the anime is in now then she isn’t really mentioned again until the end - unless I’m misremembering?
