Mariners have lost their first road series of the year

Don't be too bummed, even though I'm assuming this comment is referring to the frustration of dropping two in a row to the Rangers while you both are neck and neck right now.

As far as this streak goes though..yeah losing a series always sucks, especially given the current circumstances and the semi importance of the match up, but I'd be pretty happy to see my team get a streak like that going. Not to mention it's for road series which definitely says something about the team and if it continues could make a statement for the future. Although if I remember correctly, the Mariners for awhile now have been known to be considerably better on the road (or at least just not as bad?), and have consistently and noticeably struggled at home the last few years IIRC.

Regardless, coming into Friday y'all were 19-8 on the road so far this season, and now even at 19-10 it's still a good road record to have. Also a good sign considering they're looking like a playoff caliber team so far this season!

Take the good with the bad my friend! It's what helps me with my drinking problem that has been fueled from being a lifelong Orioles fan (it comes with the territory and is almost a right of passage for those who willingly suffer as Baltimore sports fans for the majority of their lives), and it also helps when I wanna say fuck this season and lose hope prematurely..which ends up just prolonging the inevitable misery, and never ending questioning of why I put myself through the same predictable situation year after year, even when I know that I'm fully aware of the looming and unsurprising results that are sure to eventually let me down, despite fully acknowledging that it's going to be worse if I let myself get my hopes up..which I don't think I'll ever be able to control.
