Martin Place tent city: Premier Gladys Berejiklian announces change to legislation on Sydney Crown land

Somewhat. We share a lot of interests (and subreddits) but I find that she comes off extremely cringey, like an exaggerated overacted version of something.

Originally I knew TheSolarian from /r/whowouldwin, which is a subreddit for arguing about which fictional character would win in a fight. She makes good well-reasoned arguments, though I think it's more about winning the argument than finding the truth.

I've characterised her as an "overconfident underexperienced mall ninja" previously and I stand by that characterisation. It's good to be confident, but it's important to have humility. When your confidence is greater than your competence, you have become arrogant.

And for TheSolarian, well, that happened a long while back. At this point, her comments are halfway between the "New gym goer" cliche and the "I studied the blade" one. She comes off as the sort of guy who probably practiced pickup-artist bullshit before doing so became socially unacceptable. Even though she does give useful advice sometimes, she gives it without any understanding of who she is giving the advice to or what expertise they might have in the relevant topics or whether they are interested in listening to her.

Exactly like an over-eager boy.

So like I said, somewhat. I still consider her a rude and obnoxious person who is caught between trying to help you and trying to be better than you, but the fact that a female is such a male-cliche is itself interesting and unusual.
