I have 4 dogs and I agree. I know my dogs are blessed though. I have had dogs from regular biscuit hounds all the way hunting dogs. I also have a professionally trained service dog. That being said 4 dogs is easy for me because I can afford the vet bills and they are high and I have an acre yard for them to run in, etc. My dogs are bet behaved than 90% of dogs I meet but that took a ton of work.

So if you have space and money do it but if not everyone should know it takes a ton of ongoing work and they are expensive. I have 4 by sheer accident and a little bit of destiny. I do not plan on always having 4 dogs but dogs live a long time so I am definitely going to have them for a while.

One huge benefit is all the dog snuggles I want lol
