The way I see this playing out is that he made some stupid sexist joke and ended up getting berated by the women in his life for it. That’s why he “chose” to wear the apron as op claims so as to prove that he isn’t really sexist. The thing is that this type of treatment of boys may feel good for the women it teaches nothing to this boy and is likely polarizing him. I should know I was berated in a similar manner by my grandmother. Locked in my room and abused my my step mother and yes even sexually abused by my own mother before she abandoned me. My point? Be good to your boys. Teach the the right way calmly and be there for them. And believe them when they say they were abused.
