MLB Daily Discussion - 6/28/21 (Monday)

My 20/1 five-leg MLB parlay:

DET @ CLE o9.5 (-120)
Not impressed with either these young starting pitchers. Tigers offense has been above league average lately. Good chance for plenty of hits/runs here.

Red Sox -1.5 (+120)
Danny Duffy will start, and has been good this year, but he's likely only throwing two or three innings (relatively fresh off the IL, threw a bullpen inning three days ago, and is a potential trade piece that KC should want to keep healthy) before a bottom 5-10 ranked Royals bullpen comes in.

Astros -1.5 (-175)
My only hesitation here is Greinke has been oddly bad at home this season for whatever reason but he can still eat up a ton of innings while allowing minimal damage against a bad O's offense. Houston just faced Thomas Eshelman in his last start five days ago. They racked up six ER on eight hits in just 4.0 IP. Houston is just the far better team here and the O's have won, I believe, just one of their last 23ish road games.

CHC @ MIL u7.5 (-125)
Peralta is crazy good at home (1.55 ERA, 0.67 WHIP, 37% K%) and Hendricks has not allowed more than 3 ER in his last eight starts. Neither offense is rolling out their best lineups tonight. Cubs strike out a ton, Brewers are a bottom 10 offense vs. RHPs.

SF @ LAD u8.5 (-120)
Bauer's numbers are down over the last few weeks but he's still capable of shutting down a solid offense like SF over the course of six or seven innings. DeSclafani has been a bit better on the road and has a 1.00 ERA and .152 opp AVG over his last four starts.

Throwing straight bets on all of these as well. Also gonna add Suns ML in there too in a separate parlay because why the hell not?
