My app was featured by Apple twice for best dating apps. App people, give me feedback plz

Not sure what I just read. Seems more like you're trying to see if you can generate buzz here on Reddit. Anyways, Dine is a nice concept. The issue is your not large enough in any particulair city to encourage someone to sign up. On top of it you should've been able to build a few media contacts by now. To get pickup by TechCrunch and have no other place to speak of is pretty bad. You missed the mark during launch basically and the best time to recapture it would've been over Valentine's Day.

I would honestly not be concern with the press or Reddit speaking about you. For any successful dating website they have spent a TON in marketing. So your either going have to dig in your pockets and start spending money or find an investor. It will tough with an investor just because life span of a customer is short and its expensive to acquire customers so that'll turn them off. Dating is one of the hardest markets to crack into, you just have to keep pushing at it. I am actually going to jump into it just because I need that competition to continue pushing myself but even with all the success I've achieved I know it's going be a difficult uphill battle unless I get EXTREMELY lucky and can bypass the issues.

It's 3 of you and if your not making $10,000 a month total, you need to make it a free app until you build up a large enough user base OR spend every single dollar that comes in on marketing. Then reintroduce payment but lower the cost. Your prices are pretty expensive which would turn off most people as you don't have the brand name like the other top dating apps.

I would definitely not suggest giving up. I feel that your company could definitely be bought out if you continue growing.

You definitely need an Android version.

Lastly don't compare yourself to any other top dating app. It's pointless. They're owned by IAC, which you can't compete with so it's pointless to mention any other dating site honestly. Just continue grinding and it'll pay off.

I would also suggest trying to focus more on acquiring international users vs Americans. Dating sites (IAC) are looking for companies who are reaching the world. Getting American customers is easy, but establishing yourself elsewhere is what adds value to your company. Whatever you do, focus on one specific terriroty. Dominate and then move to the next one. Don't spread yourself too thin. People don't like signing up to a ghost dating app.
