MY NEW MAP! (Forgotten Stronghold)

While I agree with NaquIma/Brad_Lee about the fact that you shouldnt have oil in final. (I actually think you should get rid of the oil between first and second too). I am really interested in playing this map.

I do, however, have more to say about it (some of these points I've made previously).

  • The oil in final NEEDS to be removed, it does make the game heavily dwarf biased if there is a Roamin.

  • Mob spawn needs to be moved back a good bit, including your nice corrupted land - front wall is usually defended by dwarves fighting in front of it and by archers shooting from atop of it.

** In relation to this... there needs to be cover between mob spawn and the front wall. If I am a skeleton on this map right now, I have nowhere to stand behind so that I do not instantly get shot. I recommend trees, or if you want to keep the corrupted theme, rocky little hills made from the netherrack/netherbrick/obsidian.

  • I know I suggested removing the lava blocks because dwarves do not want to fight in them... but replacing them with water is not a great plan either UNLESS you bedrock them. Running water and lava can cause lag on a server and dwarves or mobs can abuse that, I like the theme and understand where you're going, but the water could do more harm than good.

  • On the up side, I love that you took what I said on board about the gravel and added not only more gravel... but a whole other gravel pit. :)

  • 7k gold is a LOT, I'd recommend getting it down to about 2.5k

  • I would recommend removing the oil between first and second shrine, realistically if it's on first shrine, roamin will go to the outside oil, and on second, he'll go to the oil behind second.

  • I definitely think that the oil in final should be removed. It is way too close to the shrine.

  • I have said this several times... but please remove the flatlands
