Neil deGrasse Tyson weighs in on who would win in a fight between MCU Iron Man and DECU Batman.

Hey guys, I like both franchises. Yes, I prefer the DCEU, but I didn't come over here to start any mess, I just came across this here, and well, here's my two pennies I guess.

DCEU Batman was convinced that Superman would one day destroy the world, and that this was the fight of his life; his one chance to save the human race. He could not lose.

Batman didn't go into that fight to beat up Superman, or to give him a stern talking to, or to clash ideologies with him; he went into that fight to slay the beast. He won - barely - because he knew that he was not fighting a conventional opponent. Superman was faster, stronger and had him out in the open. Without being weakened by Kryptonite, Superman would wreck him in direct combat, armor or no armor. The machine gun turrets, the soundwave trap, the smoke grenades; all for distracting and misdirecting Superman so that he could get the upper hand with Kryptonite.

None of Batman's usual methods would work on Superman. He couldn't scare him, or sneak up on him, or hide in the dark and get the drop on him, or just tackle him and beat the hell out of him. The only possible advantage he had going into that fight was knowing that Superman would (initially) underestimate him.

I know this has nothing to do with MCU Iron Man, but of course it doesn't. The DCEU has nothing to do with the MCU, no matter what some angry guys on the internet might want to flex and measure dicks about.
