I like creating dark teaser trailers best described as experimental shorts inspired by the bizarre, offbeat, sinister style and vein of the experimental filmmaker Alex Casanas. I like giving the visuals a whole new mood, tone, and atmosphere. I won't repost these but I'll be removing the watermarks as I don't feel good about somehow taking ownership for something that is not mine. I posted these on YouTube and Vimeo as personal portfolio projects that demonstrate that I have a good sense of rhythm, pacing, and timing. It also demonstrates what I am capable of using Adobe Audition, Premiere, and After Effects at this point in time. What does it all mean? I have no idea. Looking too much into it is problematic as it has no inherent meaning in and of itself. I want the visuals (the motion picture source material) and the visual presentation (the editing I did) to create and communicate a whole new feeling that gives the characters, the locations, and the action a whole new meaning.
