New 14” MBP M1 Max, 64GB, 2TB. Fully engulfed into the Apple Ecosystem now.

That’s awesome! Same here, it’s been a nice change up.

The TryHackMe courses are pretty basic as well, but there are a few things I’ve picked up from it. (Tips and tricks).

I’ve completed the Pre-Cybersecurity Course entirely (it was fun). Now I’m onto the CySA Prep lineup and it gets much more in depth here, but not too deep.

I’ve been on HTB for awhile now (back when you had to ‘hack’ your invite), I’ve seen they have done away with that now. I’ve done some of the entry level courses are they are ok as well.

Transition wise from Windows to MacOS is not really that hard, typical IT brain though - if I can’t figure it out I Google it. The ARM architecture also adds some nuances as well in certain programs to get them to work.

Overall - not a bad experience so far. I’ve never been a Mac person prior to this and it has been easy to figure out. I’ve worked primarily in windows shops as well - so something else to add to my resume now. :)
