New bike unusable because of this issue. Any ideas? Noob here.

Hi all, this is a Dolomite ALX fat bike that I purchased for beach riding and forest trails.

But right now it remains unusable because of this.

I'm not the best at explaining things, but I'll try my best. So whenever I try to pedal forward or move the bike going backwards while off it, the arm of the rear derailleur with the bottom jockey wheel moves slightly and makes "popping" noises sometimes, and jerks the chain, when it moves. Then the arm gets pulled forward, and the chain loses its tension.

I'm a total noob when it comes to bikes, so what is going on here?

Also, the right side of the "cage" around the bottom jockey wheel appears to be bent. This could be the cause, but it is bent outwards away from the chain, so it isn't blocking it.

I don't know if this is problematic or not because of that. Again, noob here.
