New Sandman series and Constantine

Not exactly. I'm not sure if you're taking issue because you don't mind the Scouse to London conversion or whether you do mind the character swaps from white to black, man to woman etc. Or whether you just think I'm commenting in bad faith, but either way, you've misunderstood.

So it's not a case of "Its fine until it affects me". As a white, straight guy, if I had the mindset you're accusing me of, I'd probably be one of those bitching about how woke the show is. But I'm not. I'm saying this is an exclusive change, not an inclusive one, and that probably didn't even register on those who make the show, in their London studio bubble.

My point is, its fine for changes that are more inclusive. It's not fine for changes that are less inclusive.

Well-off southerners get loads of cultural play (and all the jobs and representation in the media). Working class Northerners, less so.

It's taking a character from a culturally under-represented group, and turning it into a character of a culturally over-represented group. Which is not in the spirit of inclusivity.
