New trend of making everything infused with THC seems pretty stupid to me. Idk what do you guys think.

For all those wondering why I consider it stupid:

-I've personally never had an edible/drink that didn't have a distinct after taste. Things have come a long way and perhaps there's really high quality stuff I haven't gotten my hands on.

-Food is constantly undergoing "trends." We frequently see on this sub that overabundance of melted cheese seems to be the current trend. A few years ago it was putting bacon on everything. Seems like I see more and more of these THC infused dishes, which yea, is a novelty, but it adds nothing to the dish, there's not a great way to monitor how much youre consuming, there's no telling if it's even very potent in the first place. You gonna eat half of this meal and then wait an hour to eat more? Just seems like a fad rising that ultimately adds nothing to your meal except a likely exorbitant price tag and possibly an earthy aftertaste. Seems needless in a world where you can choose from a vast amount of edibles/drinks if smoking isn't your thing. I just find that... kinda stupid.
