New Years Eve in Chapel Hill?

Yes, but not as visible as Internationalist Books was. Though to be honest it was kind of a boomer/gen x/20th century leftist relic in the first place and was not long for this world once downtown CH started mega gentrification in the late 2000s, they got priced out of the spot they had been on Franklin St for decades and moved to Carrboro for a bit before evaporating entirely.

It's still a very progressive area, after several decades of controversy local protestors toppled the major Confederate statue downtown/on campus because the local leaders wouldn't do it themselves, kind of on the leading edge of the whole Confederate monument removal zeitgeist.
