Next Season

I think on paper Liverpool will compete with the 2 Manchester teams as it stands.

If Lukaku can play as well as he did last year as United's 9, they are already an exceptionally dangerous team. As good as Zlatan was, he wasn't exactly clinical. He missed a lot of chances I think Lukaku will put away. That said, he created much more than Lukaku will for his teammates. That defender is depth, isn't he? I don't think he will bench anyone in a healthy United back 4. They defended so well last year. With a quality box-box midfielder they're looking to get, United look very strong to me.

City have already bought good players. If they get the last couple they're linked with, they're a lock for top 3, imo. I feel like they were equally as "unlucky" as Liverpool last year. In that things didn't go their way. With KDB hitting the post 28x, the defensive signings performing poorly and Gundogan getting hurt when he started to look really good. If things go their way, that's a very good team.

I consider us better than Arsenal, but not so much so to dismiss them entirely.

I don't know. I'm a pessimistic person, I guess.
