Before I continue the tale of "how I fucked up", let me explain why this community makes me a bit salty. I understand why they do this shit, but it still makes me salty. I am a medium-low geared player and I'm farming this place that all guides, streams, videos, and people within the community tell me where to: I'm at Sausans. Now I'm not clearing this fast. In fact, I'm stuck occupying one spot forever. This random guy flags, never says a word, and nukes me from way downtown into my face in 1 second. Here's a list of options (apparently unavailable to many that play this game): You are too slow please move; Let me carry you at 50/50 profit cuz I'm not heartless; you should leave this place will kill you from pker's; I will flag and kill you then say nothing then complain you are karmabombing despite telling you that no matter what you should be here. Notice 4 options. Notice the one picked. I don't want "the end game gear" or "the best spots in the game" for free. I want people to tell me what the hell I should be doing. I look at guides- they tell me to do what I am doing. They don't tell me otherwise. Now onto the story which will make you laugh or cry.

I played the game when it came out for a total of about a week. I left early on because ranged attacks broke mobs (they'd stop playing altogther, would not die, would not move), because force enhance was not a thing yet so I had no idea how gear upgrades could work, because there was so much lag that one step took 8 seconds. I then get an email saying "hey, we have this stuff that's exciting" (standard marketing, it's why I tried GW2 again then hated it in 5 minutes then uninstalled) so I log in again. Yay. I still remember all the bugs and lags and hellish upgrading. But I log in and delete my two characters (Level 22 Tamer and Level 9 Ranger). I notice there are some new classes (Musa, Maewha, Ninja, Kunoichi) so I research. I played a lot of PvP games (LoL, Dota2, Smite, Hots, Overwatch, TF2, WvWvW in Gw2, and some other stuff from many genres) and knew that was necessary. Kunoichi seemed like a blast once I discovered that she had a boomerang circle blade thing that did monstrous damage and stunned a lot. Woohoo! Once I make her, my mail says "House Fame Fund: 103m". WOOHOO! I do what I consider logical in my minimum experience and buy a DUO Krea main and offhand out the game with +15 Agerian (remember, I haven't played since game released and was almost unplayable in a literal sense). As I level up, I get the new player bonuses for another 100m and I think "accessory upgrades end at 5 levels and don't seem hard" so I smash 2 Crescent Rings together in a heartbeat. Rip 80m. I have 20 left and in order to fully gear myself I throw in some Jarette mixed with Witch and Mark. I'm not making a lot of money, levelling is taking a long time, I research. Game says just hit up the level zones (those didn't exist either when I started, the whole map was basically blank until you found a node) so I do. Still takes a bit, but I'm a lot faster than questing (how you level in other MMO's) and I just want to level for that circle blade. I finally get to Sausan and remember I'm feeling great. Agerian and Krea to the max how great that feels (when did stuff become DUO-able? Who knows, who cares) and within 10 minutes I get one shot. Ahem. I'll repeat, one week back with 200m spent on me (80 burned) and I die in one hit. Had to be a fluke, maybe I misplayed- one shot again. This time with some kind of super berserker light the world on fire move. Zerker has fire? Wasn't he the Axe guy? Ok, whatever. Obviously Kunoichi sucks and Zerker is good. I do the the most obvious thing for someone who plays MOBA's- "What counters Zerker" answers were Tamer and Sorceress. I know nothing (surprise!) so I look at vids again and Tamer looks like a BLAST! I drop my level 52 Kunoichi and go to make a Tamer, throwing all my stuff into the market. Takes a long time to sell, hey look afk fishing how does that work? Just space the water? Ok. I come back 2 hours later with 100k in fish on my level 12 tamer and my stuff sold. I throw on my trusty Agerian armor and some PRI Rosar this time (marketplace tax is HUGE, wtf!). Tamer struggles then I get heilang who I name lovingly Doggo. Doggo and I hit level 56 without encountering a soul at Sausans minus another Zerker with flaming fists who one shots packs and gets me 55 to 56 in about 30 minutes. FANTASTIC! Staff seems great fun yay. Let's go hit Sausans. Scythe lady (wait the sorceress gets a scythe?) one hits me by throwing a huge ball of death and then spinning on me. Ok. Me being me I think "Let's just stun her to death" and I do. I do the leap into grab flash stance void bubble lightning stomp Roar train into... death. I can't even do that. She somehow just tanked all my stuff and lost less than a tenth of her health. I ask "why is Sorc so tanky" and people tell me "she isn't, your gear is probably just low". I then link my gear in chat to ask like "yo, is this not good or something" and then I get my first guild. They explain that Grunil was better for my purpose (now I have all +13 Grunil, down from +15 Agerian) and that Rosar was worse than Liverto (PRI Rosar becomes +12 Liverto and +10 Needle). I still like Tamer so I grind some more to save for an ULT DUO Needle. Then I die some more and essentially drop Tamer from exhaustion. I then hit the point I'm at now. I earn just enough money on each class after hitting 56 to reroll with nearly similar gear on my next roll as I try to find which class I like as this game is primarily a gear treadmill over a skill based pvp game (as I was told). I convince a few guilds to invite me, but because I have no mic I tend to get booted. A lot. I make about 400k from this adventure until I end up with my last 4 guilds: Why aren't you inviting people you filthy casual (I was a recruit for 6 days), Mic or leave (standard), Can you use Teamspeak (no, it's considered a virus by my computer- don't ask why cuz I don't know) then boot, and now I'm with my final guild who I think is starting to hate me for class swapping 4 times so far as I now have X-56 down to 4 days at a maxim (I just got my Sorc from 38 to 49 in one hour despite only 42/31 stats which are now going to be much higher as I bought her a DUO Yuria to tide me over to Zarka and a PRI Rosar Talisman to tide me over for Kutum, also turns out she had double RCE and double MOS just chilling in her equip so that's nice?). This is my life. This is why I make no money and I'm salty. That one shot at sausan thing is annoying because it's frequent. But without Sausan, I don't hit 56 that fast or make a lot of money (as of my last few X-56 runs of: Ranger, Maewha, and Kunoichi).

This is why I am salty. Not venting, or angry.
