What is testosterone therapy like?

I suppose it is possible testosterone can cause anxiety, or even sleep issues. However, I have never heard of anybody actually experiencing any of that. Almost all guys will say that they are more relaxed and confident. I am a lot less sensitive to things than I used to be. I just feel good and more secure in everything, if that makes sense.

Just give yourself a little time to zero in on the right treatment. You are on some other medications so it might be a little trickier to get everything right. You may still have anxiety after treatment, and that is fine. You are actively managing that. But the neutral/dull feeling that you describe is a classic low T symptom. The fact that you know how to exercise is huge. I think you will get really good physical results (your mood will probably improve a lot as well).

When I first started, they put me on .75mg every 3 weeks, which didn't do anything (if the doctor is okay with you going more than a week between injections that is an indication that he doesn't understand proper treatment and isn't your guy). Then 100mg every two weeks, which helped but I lost the mojo after around a week. Then once the doctor taught my wife how to inject me, we did weekly injections which helped balance me out. But I was still having some symptoms and my level was not optimal. I went to another doctor after a while and found out my estrogen was too high and it was erasing the benefits of the medicine. After my third doctor, I am at 200mg per week (which is on the high end but my body eats the T up and metabolizes it quickly), I cycle HCG to keep testicular function, and manage the estrogen. All of that was my first 1-1/2 years. Once it was all in line is when I started feeling amazing. So my story is pretty typical for a guy starting out. I would like your recovery to be quicker. It will take time but you will get there. You will get some of your alpha-ness back.
