I feel like everyone supporting it are trying to be super woke but take it too far, saying everyone outside the equation is sexualizing the streamer in the hot tub but we ALL know that is the intent. Without question BUT if you point this out people call you out... For wanting to avoid the rampant sexualization of female streamers? That makes you somehow part of the problem? HUH?

It is SO weird how COUNTLESS female streamers are piping up saying this current meta forces their hand to succeed as a female streamer then you have the "biggest" female streamer who ditched to YouTube saying "how is this a problem?". Pretty convenient for her to say as she is off platform and already "made it" so she has zero pressure to do the same. I have no idea why people have pushed for this insane super woke take which goes so far it does the opposite of what they intend it to. Just hurts every female streamer who wants to make actual content and not be a chaturbate lite streamer.

This will hurt Twitches image and it is crazy how so many streamers walk on eggshells fearing a random unexplained ban while countless camsite rejects pour over to twitch with a blatant plan to capitalize on a TOS loophole. SURE do it while you can BUT if you disagree on how Twitch needs to change things to sort this out you are part of the problem.

This current meta hurts female streamers who make ACTUAL content and the image of Twitch as a whole and let us not forget Twitch is underperforming in Amazon's eye... I have no doubt they will trim some fat if the brand is damaged. IE whole platform dissolved because woke people want to allow streamers to sit in a hot tub doing fuck all rather than do it on sites EXPLICITLY made for that kind of content. People defending hot tub streams go to such lengths and impressive mental gymnastics to justify it. Remember how Twitch was a platform for gamers and there was once a sense of community and now its so fragmented into oblivion?

AT LEAST make a 18+ NON-recommended section to toss all those hot tub streams and I think everyone would be happy at that point. If you somehow think it NEEDS to be on the platform that was birthed as a game streaming platform make a category for it. IRL was made because people were making IRL content and it sat outside Just Chatting, SO make another called "Swimming" or some diplomatic bullshit to appease advertisers and call it a day but to allow it to remain on just chatting is braindead and will hurt the Twitch brand.
