Because while I absolutely see narcissistic abuse as incredibly damaging and detrimental, the term “narcissist” is a pull from the clinical diagnosis of NPD, and while many people with NPD are incredibly abusive, it isn’t fair to lump those who actively work to recover from their disorder and respect boundaries with those who use it as an excuse.

It's the narcissist's fucking job to deal with their own damn ego wound.

It's not fair for narcissists to ask survivors of narcissistic abuse who aren't talking about them to curtail their language because they're too self centered to comprehend that if they don't abuse people, it's not fucking about them
