Is it inconsiderate to go to class sometimes knowing you aren’t going to push yourself?

This will likely be unpopular and will get me downvoted. I would say it depends really. If you attend a studio where its typically difficult to get into a class because of a high volume of folks that causes the local area to book a couple weeks in advance....I personally would be frustrated if I was one of the ones that are always fighting for a spot in class.

Other people are paying too, in some areas near $200/month. It can be tough to get in. So I'll just say think of the folks that would have really wanted to be where you are and wanted to give a good effort in class. Everyone has different schedules and life circumstances and can only attend at certain times, so it can be a tough struggle for them getting into a class. I will say, they should understand their situation and are willing to embrace the challenge of scrambling to make their schedule align with OTF classes.

But if you're in an area where it's not hard to get into a class, it's different then. Any situation where there's a very high demand for something and low slots to get in means many folks aren't getting in. And if I were one of the ones that couldn't get in I'd hope the people that ARE in are actually there for the right reasons.

Again, downvote me to oblivion but after being in an area that has a high volume of OTFers and its always a struggle to get a class in outside of normal work hours, I'd hope the ones that are in there are actually making something of it and not wasting the slot that so many others would also love to have. But I also recognize that's fully out of my control and it's that individual's choice on the level of exertion and effort they want to apply that day
