What did you used to hate but now love?

Travelling to other places!

It felt strange getting out of my house, guess it was some kind of comfort zone and there was stress travelling with many people but i endend up enjoying travelling alone around the world.

I saw as a opportunity to work on myself and learn more about me. And there is nothing like waking up at a random day in a random country of your choosing and just follow your instinct to meet new people, cultures, languages etc.

For me, tough, there is always this bittersweet feeling of nostalgia, happiness and loneliness because sometimes i get overwhelmed, quite strange huh. It reminds me off all the good trips that i had, being my favorite one to Brazil. Dude, the cities and the people were awesome and while most of them (the lower-class folk and mid-class) couldn't understand much of what you were saying, you would always find them wanting to help you, giving instructions or looking for someone that could undersyand you correctly.

But what ended everything with a gold key was the new years eve in copacabana beach! Imagine 16 minutes of colorfull and cheerfull explosions - a delicated dance and sequence of fireworks that makes you lock your eyes on the endless horizon - or how they call: "fogos de artifício" - beautifull language don't you think? So im the most famous beach in the whole country and its completely crowded and good music is playing, it was some brazillian female singer that i really dont remember now and i took a moment from that place and sat away from that whole overload of ecstasy.

I was just enjoying the moonlight reflex on the water and it made me laugh. There was this atomic party just near me and there i was, enjoying the sea and all its mistery. At some point though some beautifull girls pass near and play with me: calling me a "gringo" "bonito" (beautifull in brazillian portuguese) "gostoso" so time to get up, shake the sand off the hands and shorts and go talk to them.

Two brunnettes and one blonde - the trio is gorgeous and midly drunk as well. They didnt have that disdain or superiority look you see in entitled first world girls all the time, just a honest beautifull white-teeth smile to match the clean sand and that awesome movement of the hips that i've been seeing all brazillian girls do since i arrived on rio de janeiro which they called "rebolar".

Then we return to the party. Or at least i've tried because now these girls were dead, and as i cast them in the bottomless sea where our Lord Cthulhu sleeps, it accepts my gift in his slumber.
